Choose Erie Initiative to Promote Economic Development Presented

An initiative designed to bring new businesses to Erie County was presented to County Council Thursday.
Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper and other business leaders showed off the work so far on Choose Erie.
The Choose Erie initiative has been in development since 2016. Erie County Council approved the funding in 2017.
It is designed to spark economic development by marketing Erie County's highly trained and available workforce to encourage businesses to locate or expand their business here.
The website ChooseErie.com is expected to go live within 100 days.
